A worker cooperative is a business owned and democratically controlled by its workers. Every worker-owner has an equal vote in major decisions and shares in the profits. Unlike traditional companies where shareholders and executives hold power, co-ops put workers at the center of governance.

EconChangers LLC is building a crowdfunding platform and support network specifically for worker cooperatives. We provide three integrated tools: FlockTank (crowdfunding), FlockWorker (business operations), and FlockList (marketplace) to help launch, run, and grow worker-owned businesses.

We focus exclusively on worker cooperatives that commit to our core policies: 50/50 profit sharing, job security through technology changes, and public financial transparency. We also provide ongoing business tools and support, not just funding.

Both accredited and non-accredited investors can participate. Accredited investors have no limits, while everyday investors can invest based on SEC Regulation CF limits—at least $2,500/year, with higher limits based on income and net worth.

All FlockTank campaigns use revenue-based financing designed to deliver competitive returns. Repayment comes from a percentage of gross revenue. If a campaign doesn't reach its funding goal, you get a 100% refund.

Registration is free. We charge a flat 7.5% fee on investments at the time of transaction. There are no hidden costs or ongoing fees for investors.

All investments carry risk, including potential loss of your entire investment. However, our expert review process, core policy requirements, and ongoing business support are designed to maximize the chances of success. Failed campaigns result in full refunds.

Submit a campaign proposal through FlockTank. Our team and expert network will review your business plan, help you prepare materials, and guide you through the crowdfunding process. Once approved and funded, you'll have access to FlockWorker business tools.

Almost any business can operate as a cooperative—restaurants, tech companies, manufacturing, retail, services, and more. The key requirements are worker ownership, democratic governance, and commitment to our core policies.

Launching a FlockTank campaign is free. If your campaign succeeds, EconChangers takes 7.5% of funds raised. FlockWorker business tools cost 3% of revenue. There are no upfront costs to get started.

Funded co-ops get access to FlockWorker (HR, accounting, inventory, payroll tools), expert mentorship, training, and the FlockList marketplace to connect with customers and other co-ops.

You can apply for jobs at EconChangers co-ops, shop from FlockList businesses, follow and share campaigns on social media, provide feedback, or spread the word about the worker ownership movement.

Every EconChangers co-op commits to three guarantees: (1) 50/50 profit split—half of net profits shared equally among workers, (2) Job security—no layoffs due to technology changes, and (3) Public transparency—financial and staffing data published online.
